South Dublin Chamber is the business organisation for South Dublin County. The Chamber provides a wide range of services for all business ranging from sole traders to large multinationals. We provide an extensive networking programme designed to help you increase your business and a support services programme ranging from HR advice to training on a wide variety of topics. In 2010 the Chamber will run over 145 different events for our members ensuring every business involved has the opportunity to increase it sales, improve its knowledge and increase its skills base. The Chamber is also the voice of business in the County and reflects the views and concerns of the business community to a wide range of agencies including South Dublin County Council and South Dublin County development Board. South Dublin County Council

South Dublin County Council plays a pivotal role in supporting, developing and fostering enterprise, economic and community development in South Dublin County. South Dublin Countyis a place where enterprise is facilitated by the development of meaningful supports through the implementation of appropriate planning policies, development of infrastructure and the nurturing of creativity and innovation.


South Dublin County Enterprise Board

The County Enterprise Board was established to provide support at local level to the micro enterprise sector (businesses with less than 10 employees) and to cultivate and expand an ethos of local entrepreneurship.  The Enteprise Board in South Dublin Count promotes and develops an enterprise culture, facilitates the development of new and existing micro – enterprises, increases employment in micro- enterprises and aims to maximise the competitiveness of micro enterprises within South Dublin County.


CPLN Area Partnership

CPLN Area Partnership will seek to create a Partnership incorporating the Community, Voluntary, Statutory and Social Partner Sectors. The Partnership identified seven focuses for its local development strategy and has identified a range of strategies within each of the following action areas: Enterprise and Employment, Childcare, Community Development, Environment and Infrastructure, Youth, Education and Health


Dodder Valley

Dodder Valley Partnership works with partners in the area to create sustainable & vibrant communities, particularly with people experiencing poverty and exclusion. We work on achieving our vision through development and delivery of projects and services that are:

  • pro-active and responsive to change;
  • cooperative, inclusive and empowering;
  • challenging, progressive and persistent;
  • Encouraging ourselves and others to learn.
